Chroma Queens is a falling-gem puzzle game with a roguelike layer on top. You climb a gauntlet of 10 opponents, each with their own attack rhythm, and between fights you pick upgrades, relics and allies that change how your board behaves.

What's in it

- 10 opponents, each with a distinct attack pattern, HP curve and soundtrack

- Build 2×2 blocks into Power gems, then detonate them with Circle gems — big chains hit har

- 13 permanent upgrades bought with coins that carry across runs

- Curses picked at the start of a run: a real downside for a real payoff

- Allies with activens, crash-gemmanipulation) and passives

- Endless Mode (boss rush, board persists between fights) unlocked after you beat the campaign

- Plays in the browser, portrait, mouse or keyboard on desktop (A/S/D + Q/E), touch and swipe on mobile

Where it's at

This is a first public build, and I'd rather ship it rough than sit on it. Known gaps:

- No sprite animations yet — gems are drawn procedurally, characters are stills on desktop

- Some quality-of-life is missing: no landing-position indicator, no hold/reserve slot, only one piece of lookahead

▎ - Balance across the 10 opponents is a first pass, not a tuned curve

If you play it, I'd  did you stop, and why? Boredom, difficulty spike, confusion about a mechanic — all useful. Comments here or on the devlog.
